Participant documents

[an e-mail sent to students]
Hello all,
Regarding the workshops mentioned on Tuesday I’d like to invite volunteers to participate in the drawing workshop which is a part of my academic research on higher education and the impact of pedagogy focused on play on the inclusive academic and professional work environment in spatial design disciplines. Exploring the role of embodying atmospheres through play and shaping the built environment for human interaction is the subtheme that the workshop will refer to.
The research workshop will take no longer than 30 minutes and will involve drawing. Some of the tasks may include body movement, like stepping from side to side from side.
Please bring: a pen, a pencil, a colour pen (eg. sharpie) and an object of attraction – I’d suggest bringing in the task_1 object, so we will all have some universal grounds to start with and also add to our existing brief of collective memory.
Bring joy, memories, experiences and imagination, too as the drawing tasks will require you to imagine/bring into mind a happening.
The workshop will be an individual task with individual outcome, however performed in the group of peers. A short discussion and exchange of thoughts will follow up after the research workshop + a short feedback will be welcomed.
None of your personal data will be required apart from the date when the workshop took place. I will ask for the scans of the drawings as a document (you will be free to refuse, but I hope you won’t) and within a week a short survey will follow.
Please come back to me with a list of names by the end of the week (I’ll send a reminder on Friday)
1. name + surname, 2. name+ surname…
What a long e-mail, thank you for your time and see you tomorrow 🙂
Sylwia
